Press Release of the Day: Deja Vu Edition



Flash back to last year, when you, the loyal Franklin Avenue reader, helped us name our baby.

Now NBC's "Days of Our Lives" is following our lead. Of course, that's a make-believe show, and we put the fate of our actual little boy in your hands. Thankfully, "Evan" won out, and not "Twista Schneider," "Phinias J. Schneider," "J. Pierpont Schneider" or "Rupert Schneider."

Daytime Drama's Fans Can Name Belle's Baby Exclusively on NBC.com Beginning Today

BURBANK - August 15, 2005 - For the first time in the 40-year history of NBC's "Days of our Lives" (Mondays-Fridays), fans will have the chance to be part of daytime history starting today by logging on to www.NBC.com/Days to vote for their favorite name for Belle Black-Kiriakis' baby. Fans will have until September 18 to cast multiple votes before the name is announced on air.

The names that Belle (Martha Madison) and her husband Philip (Kyle Brandt) have selected follow.

If it's a boy: Conner, Tyler or Luke.

If it's a girl: Claire, Margaret or Hillary.

"NBC Daytime has a great track record of hugely popular and ground breaking innovations on the internet," said Sheraton Kalouria, Senior Vice President, Daytime Programs, NBC Entertainment. "I'm delighted that this event will continue our efforts to reward our viewers' loyalty and allow them to make an even deeper connection with the show."
