"Miracle on 34th Street" Comes to the Million Dollar Theatre

Natalie Wood in Miracle on 34th Street (1947)

This will get you into the holiday spirit quickly: A trip to downtown's Million Dollar Theatre, where this Sunday the L.A. Conservancy is screening the holiday classic "Miracle on 34th Street." Tix are $15, or $10 for Conservancy members. (Kids under 12 are $5).

The Conservancy suggests you make a day of it, and we agree:

Kick off the holiday season with the Conservancy's sixth annual holiday film matinee. On Sunday, December 4, we’ll present a 2 p.m. screening of Miracle on 34th Street (1947), starring Edmund Gwenn, Maureen O’Hara, John Payne, and a very precocious and skeptical nine-year-old Natalie Wood.

Bring family and friends, come early or stay late, do some holiday shopping, go ice-skating at Pershing Square, dine at some delicious downtown restaurants, and enjoy a special discount from nearby Grand Central Market!
