Unusual Public Art on Grand Ave.

Spotted on Grand Avenue: Some unusual public art. Above, "Bell Communications around the Globe,” located on the side of the AT&T building at 420 Grand Ave. Artist Anthony Heinsbergen, who created the piece in 1961, told the story of telecommunications of that era (using pieces from telephone components).
