Lucky We Live L.A.: The New York Trader Joe's Experience

trader joe's NYC

Next time you complain about the ridiculous Silver Lake Trader Joe's parking lot (or any TJ's lot, for that matter, since they're all ridiculous), remember this: At least you're not stuck waiting in line at one of the Manhattan Trader Joe's.

On a quick visit this Sunday, I wound up in line for about 20 minutes. The line snaked through the store, even though about 20 registers were open. This TJ's (in Union Square) even employs workers to stand at the back of the line, holding big "BACK OF LINE" signs. It's also virtually impossible to walk around the store, squeezing around the check-out line and the gobs of people to grab items.

Silver Lake Trader Joe's, all is forgiven!

If you're looking for something new to blog about you should visit Skilloop.com. It's a great LA site that offers offline lessons for some pretty awesome stuff. It'd be a great experience and definitely something to blog about.

Bethany, through Mike S aka Franklin Ave; so you ARE NOT talking about those 'other' blog experiences [usually they hit up sports site comments] but I should visit skilloop dot com for something pretty awesome to blog about? Will it or Does it have anything to do with M Press; Aloha Radio, Blogger Big Brother, upcoming Great LA Walks, The Militant, TV seasons or the chance for Mike to add video flavor to another TV news or entertainment show? Is my areas of interest too limited for skloop? maybe it will assist with social skills, can one increase or get offine lessons for that? Any part of the Facebook IPO? Are you part of the 'ACE' broadcasting network? just asking .......

oh I get it, Skill is the main part of SKILLOOP ..... getting mentioned in comments on unrelated yet popular websites ... that's a skill.... I thought the 'loop' part could be a stunt done by planes, skateboarders, free style skiers or a professional audio person.... don't go by me, I could be wrong ... the Previous [7:26 AM] anon comment brings up something else very different ... NEVERMIND !!
