CreepyLA's 'American Horror Story' Tour

Fresh off its whopping 17 Emmy nominations, FX's "American Horror Story" is clearly hot -- and prepping for a season two that will boast a completely different story and a partially new cast. But season one was all about Los Angeles, and exploring some of the creepy stories of our city's past. That meant the production was shot all over Los Angeles, part of the fun of watching it.

David Markland's Creepy L.A. blog -- focusing on all things Halloween and spooky in Los Angeles -- has put together a tour inspired by the Ryan Murphy show, with stops at:

The Alfred Rosenheim House, 1120 Westchester Pl.
Fairfax Senior High School, 7850 Melrose Ave.
Villain’s Tavern, 1356 Palmetto St.
Dearly Departed Tours, 6603 W Sunset Blvd.
Sal Mineo murder site – 8569 Holloway Dr, West Hollywood
The Black Dahlia’s remains dumped here – 3800 block S. Norton Dr.

We wrote back in May how the "American Horror Story" house is back on the market for a cool $12 million.
