"Mad Men" was in the middle of filming a scene at LAX's Terminal 4 (American Airlines) when today's shooting at the airport (in Terminal 3) broke out. According to key grip Dustin Woods, things came to a halt when LAXPD officers came by, guns drawn. The production was told to get back, "inside active shooter on site," Woods tweeted.

Later, he also tweeted:

"yes,we were filming inside AA terminal 4,arrivals tunnel. When were told to move down to the far end of the tunnel for safety."

"Police K-9 unit going through AA arrival terminal right now. Should be getting the all clear shortly."

Here's a pic that Woods posted on his Twitter of outside an eerily empty LAX:

Also, "Mythbusters" stars Grant Imahara and Tory Belleci were present in Terminal 3 at the time of today's shooting. Here's the statement from Science Channel:

Both were en route to Delaware for the filming of 'Punkin Chunkin'. Grant and Tory are safe and being rerouted. Our thoughts are with all those affected by today's tragedy and our gratitude goes out to the members of the LAPD, Airport Police, TSA, and Virgin America staff for restoring safety to the scene.

Also, CBS exec Kelly Kahl happened to also be on his way to LAX and, stuck outside, gave an eyewitness report to KCBS/KCAL:
