Here's Where to Find L.A.'s Spookiest Homemade Haunted House

Haunted house

The kids are obsessed with the Hollywood Haunter house in Glendale, and for good reason: It may be the most elaborate homegrown haunted house you'll see in any Los Angeles neighborhood. The spooky facade was built in front of a real house (which is covered up by black drapes).

The haunted house has been up since September. If you're gonna go through all this work, October isn't enough! Go here for location information.

Some background from their Facebook page:
We try to make each prop ourselves. We do a little bit through out the year but October always comes too fast. The number one question we get asked every year is “Where do you store it all?” This year Hollywood Haunter presents “Haunt on Garden Street“. We've turned our home into a long forgotten cemetery. Complete with gravestones, skeletons, spooky trees and two large mausoleums. If you’re brave you can wonder through the 150 foot crypt. We add lighting, fog and sound to make you feel like you walking onto a real life thriller set.

Of course, they didn't actually answer that question about where everything is stored! Here's a lengthier description posted at the site:
