Fast Food Follies

Here's a topic that will make the foodies cringe: Fast food. When it comes to fast food chains, Southern California is usually the envy of the rest of the country -- we've got In-N-Out Burger, after all, and that's reason enough to crown us champs.

Meanwhile, most major national chains also have outposts out here -- recent additions include the popular Panera Bread store -- but with a few notable exceptions.

Los Angeles has no Dunkin Donuts locations to speak of. Just one Sonic Drive-In exists in the entire region, and it's in Anaheim. And plenty of regional restaurants, like White Castle, haven't made their way out west.

What would you love see come to Southern California? And on the flip side, what fast food joint not found everywhere makes you glad you live in L.A.? (As you know, I'm personally happy to have an L&L Drive-Inn, not to mention Jollibee and Poquito Mas so close by.)
