Conan Comes to Los Angeles: L.A. Icons Front and Center on the New "Tonight Show"
Conan O'Brien's inaugural "Tonight Show" opening and brand new set are not only classy, but also put Los Angeles icons front and center. Above, from the top of the show, the new logo over downtown's skyline.
Also, every night you'll see City Hall prominently on the show, as it stands right behind Conan's desk.
The "Tonight Show" opening includes plenty of other L.A. icons, including the Bonaventure Hotel (above) and Hollywood (below).
Meanwhile, Conan's first-night gags included one about his new seats for the Lakers -- where he's not quite on the floor just yet:
