February Los Angeles Radio Ratings: KIIS Remains Dominant

Top 40 KIIS-FM continues its reign as the Los Angeles market's No. 1 radio station (outside of the Christmas holidays), dominating the February Arbitron ratings with a 5.6% share of the audience.

Clear Channel sibling KOST-FM remains in second place, with a 4.9 share, while rival CBS Radio outlet KRTH-FM "K-Earth" is third, with a 4.4.

That's followed by talker KFI (4.1) and then rhythmic KPWR "Power 106," which shot up from a 3.5 in January to a 4.0 in February.

In sixth was the market's top Spanish station, KLVE-FM, with a 3.5 share; then top 40 KAMP-FM "Amp Radio" (3.5), KTWV-FM "The Wave" (3.4) and KROQ-FM (3.3). AC KBIG-FM "My 104.3" rounded out the top ten, with a 3.3. Just bubbling under, at a 3.0, was all-news KNX -- which is likely to see further improvement in March's book thanks to these ultra-newsy times.
