Saturday afternoon at the Santa Monica Pier, which included a trip to the Carousel for the kids... and skee-ball for me. Strong waves at the beach, but I never recommend going into the water in the Santa Monica area anyway. Unless you like your sea water with a bit of pollution on top.
As always, the free two-hour parking at Santa Monica Place -- which I'm surprised managed to survive the shopping center makeover -- is the way to go. A few pics:
