One Franklin Avenue reader listed Griffith Park's Travel Town as a treasure of vanishing Los Angeles, and we'd have to agree.
I took Blogger Baby to check out Travel Town on Saturday, and he loved the very kid-friendly train-centric outdoor museum. It's hard not to be impressed by the massive early-20th century locomotives or get caught up in the enthusiasm of the train-loving volunteers. Some shots:
