Touring Glendale's Historic Buildings On Two Wheels

Friend of Franklin Avenue Scott Lowe is helping organize a history-themed bike ride around Glendale. (More details here.)

Scott writes that stops will include the Southern Pacific Railroad Depot (also known as the Glendale Train Station), Grand Central Air Terminal, Brand Park, The Alex Theatre, Casa Adobe De San Rafael and a lunch break at Porto's.

Oh yes, a lunch break at Porto's. I'm guessing they'll lose a few bicylists at Porto's.

Event takes place on Saturday, April 18th:

Meet at the Glendale Transportation Center (the old Southern Pacific Rail Depot) at 9:30am. The ride leaves at 10am. The route will be 12-13 miles at a slow to moderate pace with numerous stops. Helmets are required. Rain cancels.
