As our insane president continues to march us toward war, it's easy to forget that war is being waged every day in the nation's inner cities. According to the Los Angeles Times, military hospitals these days have less battle trauma experience than hospitals like L.A. County-USC Medical Center (the one that doubles as TV's "General Hospital"). As a result, military medics have been dispatched to inner-city hospitals to train for the potential war overseas.
Notes the newspaper, "victims of shootings, stabbings, accidents and other traumas that the county sends to the massive hospital would resemble what military medical teams might see in battle."
