PARIS HILTON TELLS BILLY BUSH THAT WHEN IT COMES TO LOVE, "LOOKS DON'T MATTER ANYMORE"

Hilton on Looks: "One Day We're All Going to Be Ugly...So Who Cares?"

SHOW AIRS ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2004

BURBANK, Calif. September 22, 2004 - In an interview with "Access Hollywood's" Billy Bush, hotel heiress Paris Hilton says that "looks don't matter anymore" when it comes to her dating preferences. The interview airs on "Access Hollywood," Wednesday, September 22, 2004 (check local listings for time and station).

Hilton, who dated Backstreet Boy Nick Carter for almost a year, says that looks are less of a priority in her search for Mr. Right then they used to be. "Looks don't matter anymore," she says. "It's all about how nice they are. At this point, I want to find a guy who's right for me. I want someone who's going to treat me well and love me."

"The Simple Life" star says she's realized she should focus more on what people are made of, because everyone, including herself, will lose their outward appeal with age. "One day we're all going to be ugly," she says. "We're all going to be eighty years old and ugly, so who cares? I'd rather have someone with a good heart than some good-looking idiot with no brain, because looks fade and I know that. I know that I'm not going to be good-looking forever. No one is, so it doesn't matter."
