Who Wants To Name Our Baby? Episode One

As regular readers know, Franklin Avenue is about to grow by one, as we (and the ants) welcome a new boy to the 'hood at the end of the year. But Maria and I haven't yet figured out what to name our incoming roommate.

That's where you come in. Over the next several weeks, we'll be holding our own little blog reality show to pick the little one's name. (Why? C'mon, hasn't everything turned into a reality series at this point?)

This week we begin the auditions. That's right -- email us your suggestions, as many as you want, to nameourbaby@hotmail.com.

Maria and I will pick our ten favorite -- and then have you vote out your least favorite name, week by week, until one name remains.

We'll name our kid after that winning entry. (Although, we reserve the right, of course, to change our minds.)
