Who Wants To Name Our Baby? Week 3

It's time to tally the votes... and eliminate the first name off our top ten finalists.

For readers just joining us, Maria and I can't figure out a name for our baby boy, currently in development and targeted for a end-of-the-year premiere date. Hence the decision to launch the blogosphere's first ever "Blogality" show. (Or, at the very least, the first game in the blogosphere ever given that not-as-clever-as-we'd-like-to-believe "blogality' handle.)

After a week of heated debate... Franklin Avenue readers have voted off...

But wait... that's not all. There's been an unfortunate development.

Despite our top-notch background check and screening process, we've learned some disturbing news about two of our contestants in the last few days.

First up, one of the contestants, Colin, failed to pass the "tease" factor. It's been brought to our attention that cruel kids might start taunt the kid by calling him "Colon" instead. And to add to the name's troubles, "Colin" is also the name of an evil "Amazing Race" contestant WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED, ALONG WITH HIS DOMESTIC ABUSE PARTNER CHRISTIE, LAST WEEK!

So unfortunately, we're going to have to say goodbye to Colin. But we have contingency plans for such things. Joining the contest this week is Tyler.

Now, the other change: Due to an error in our casting department, we somehow didn't catch Jackson, which, we quickly realized later, should never be paired with the middle name Michael -- for obvious reasons. Jackson managed to make it through the contest this week -- but we're now referring to him simply as Jack.
