I wrote about discovering the "Mike Schneider Band" a few days ago, so it's only fair to introduce... the Maria Schneider Orchestra!

Apparently our namesakes are a very musical bunch. This so-called "Maria Schneider" was nominated for two Grammys this morning, in the "Best Instrumental Composition" category:
