The Price of Rain

Like many of you, we've been hit hard in the pocketbook thanks to this year's major downpours. We spent $2,000 to repair our leaky garage roof, and now we're spending another $1,000-plus replacing doors that were ruined by the rains.

The wood is rotting on our back door, while the door to our garage has become a science experiment:


Of course, that's not all (and by the way, have you noticed the influx of mosquitos, gnats and other moisture-loving insects in your back yard?) Let's hope for a dry summer, drought be damned.
