Hmm, I was being a little flip last week, but maybe the L.A. Times listened!
Earlier this month, after the Times dropped its abbreviated Liz Smith column, the paper opted to expand its Astrology column. A little too much, I tweaked. The extended feature included the usual horoscopes, plus a lengthy celebrity astrology reading -- for folks such as Britney Spears' sister.
Bridge, on the other hand, got none of that bonus space.
The paper has now made a minor correction, splitting the increased real estate between the Astrology and Bridge columns. That means a little bit more space for both -- but not enough room for those celeb forecasts. (By the way, have you met anyone who actually reads the Bridge column?)
