Election day! Wait, you didn't know? Welcome to the 75 percent majority. (Some of us who did know, of course, don't live in L.A... and can't vote.)
Of course, we live in a city where a chunk of the population doesn't even know that it lives in Los Angeles -- so are surprised?
Meanwhile, TV land is focused on a race of a very different sort this week: The fall primetime campaign kicks off in New York, as the networks announce their fall schedules, one by one. NBC went yesterday; ABC and the WB announced their new slates today; CBS is up next on Wednesday; followed by Fox and UPN on Thursday. We got it all covered at Variety over here.
