Movie Haunts
Cinespia, the film society that screens classic movies on the side of a building inside the Hollywood Forever cemetery, is back for another year.
As part of a tribute to John Huston, the director's "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" will kick off the year's festivities on May 14. Gates open at 8 p.m., while the film starts at 9 p.m.
Hollywood Forever -- where lumanaries such as Mel Blanc and Douglas Fairbanks are buried -- is located at Santa Monica and Gower; Cinespia asks for a $10 donation at the gate.
