That's right, Mickey Kaus' favorite radio station is once again looking for volunteers to work the phones, this time from August 5 to 15.
The station especially needs volunteers between 6 a.m. and noon, during "Morning Edition" and Harcourt's "Morning Becomes Eclectic."
Go here for more info. My advice: Pledge on the weekend, when they're giving away a premium as well as a full-year subscription to Newsweek or L.A. mag. The KCRW membership winds up paying for itself.
