Tupperland
One of the NotebookLosAngeles contributors recently found a reason to visit the tree-laden community of Upland. One hint: Jell-o molds.
Writes the site: After a happy hour of strolling, we stopped by the Cooper Regional Museum.
And what should we find there but a new exhibit of the world's largest private collection of Tupperware. Let the enormity of those words wash over you. Your first thought is, here? And then your second thought is, why not here?
About half the museum was filled with bowls, pitchers and containers of all shapes, colors and eras. Fascinating. This is exactly the kind of odd discovery one hopes the easygoing weekend drive will deliver. Still sort of slack-jawed over the whole afternoon.
