Lost and Stuff

First up: As Maria and I predicted, INXS told slightly crazy J.D. Fortune that he was "right for our band, INXS" and chose him as their new lead singer Tuesday. Above, fellow NU grad (and People mag's own) Cynthia Wang, with J.D. at the "Rock Star: INXS" mansion bash we went to last month.

J.D. was the obvious choice in the end; he does the best Michael Hutchence impersonation, first and foremost. Our fave, MiG Ayesa, is probably still better fit for Broadway. And the other finalist, Marty, was just too creepy looking. And I couldn't get his annoying "Trees" song out of my head for days. Bastard.

Of course, all of that "Rock Star: INXS" talk doesn't mean much to most of you. So on to tonight's primetime, as Premiere Week continues. Yup, it's all about "Lost." But I know you're curious about "The Apprentice: Martha," which also preems tonight.
