Metro Orange Line: Boon or Boondoggle?



Decide for yourself this weekend, as the Valley's much-debated Orange line makes its long-awaited grand opening.

Riders will be able to ride the new dedicated bus line for free all day Saturday and Sunday, reports the Daily News:

Patrons can take free rides throughout the weekend from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. to midnight Sunday. Community event celebrations will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the park-and-ride lots of five stations: North Hollywood, Van Nuys, Balboa, Pierce College and Warner Center. Admission is free.
