FAN FAVORITE MOLLY RINGWALD SET TO GUEST STAR ON NBC'S "MEDIUM"

BURBANK, Calif - April 11, 2006 -Actress Molly Ringwald will make her first television appearance in four years as a guest-star on NBC's supernatural drama "Medium," episode "The Darkness is Light Enough" (Monday, May 1st at 10 PM ET/PT).

"I've been a fan of both Glenn's and Patricia's work for a long time," said Ringwald. "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them as well as the entire cast of 'Medium.'"

"I can't tell you how excited we are to have Molly Ringwald join us for this episode," said the show's creator and executive producer, Glenn Gordon Caron. "She is someone whose work I've long admired and I was thrilled when she agreed to do it. GOLDEN GIRLS DEDICATION SET FOR MAY 4 ON SUNSET GOWER STUDIOS STAGE

A special dedication of a plaque to the Golden Girls series will be held on the original Sunset Gower Studio sound stage Thursday afternoon, May 4 with cast members Bea Arthur, Estelle Getty, Rue McClanahan, Betty White, guest stars and other members of the Golden GirlsTV family invited to attend, according to series producers Paul Witt, Tony Thomas, Susan Harris and Sunset Gower CEO Robert Papazian. who will also host a cast reunion and luncheon.

Golden Girls ran on NBC television from 1985 until 1992 in its Saturday night time slot and was an immediate hit for the network. It brought to the TV screen one of the first representations of working, energetic women in their senior years, functioning as a family, sharing their daily lives and dreams, together.
