J'aime Los Angeles

French department store Galeries Lafayette's latest campaign centers on Los Angeles -- well, the common perception of Los Angeles. In this L.A., of course, Venice/Muscle Beach and Rodeo Drive are the center of L.A. life.

But strangely, as you can probably see above, the L.A. montage on the Galeries Lafayette page use New York street signs, as well as a New York MTA logo.

Tip from Emmanuelle Richard, who writes:

Don't miss the glitzy cheesy website! Especially if you feel in the Hollywood mood to fork out 169 Euros for a ripped pair of denim bermuda shorts. The Los Angeles art exhibition in Beaubourg is not far from the Paris Galleries Laf' and more reasonable: 10 Euros.
