Santa Clarita Is (Was?) Burning

Driving north on the 405 through the Sepulveda Pass yesterday, I caught this view of smoke (courtesy the fires burning in the Angeles National Forest near Santa Clarita) over the mountains.

The fires were expected to be contained by today.
