Vote Early This Weekend -- If You Dare

With so much concern over electronic voting, I'm actually a tad leery about voting early -- which means using a touchscreen machine at one of several locations around the county.

Still, if you're not bugged by evidence that e-voting can be easily manipulated, you can head down to Norwalk through the weekend. The Times has the details:

The office of the registrar-recorder/county clerk in Norwalk, 12400 Imperial Highway, is open today and Monday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be open Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, today's the last day to get your early vote on at 16 locations across the county, including these spots:

• Beverly Hills City Hall, 455 N. Rexford Drive
• Braille Institute, 741 N. Vermont Ave.
• Culver City City Hall, 9770 Culver Blvd.
• Downtown Central Library, 630 W. 5th St.
• East L.A. County Regional Library, 4837 E. 3rd St.
• North Hills Mid-Valley Library, 16244 Nordhoff St.
• Pasadena Jackie Robinson Center, 1020 N. Fair Oaks Ave.
• Redondo Beach Public Library, 303 N. Pacific Coast Highway

Otherwise, you have a few more days to bone up on candidates and propositions. Do your homework this weekend.
