I stopped by the blogger gathering at Bar Lubitsch (thrown by Mediabistro and blogging.la) after work on Tuesday night, and got to see several familiar faces and a few new ones.
The place was packed, and not easy to move around -- making it tough to meet new bloggers, especially without nametags or other easy identifiers. Still, I managed to finally meet Darleeneisms.la's Darleene Powells in person, and also got to see several Curbed LA folk.
Also at the gathering, I congratulated Will Campbell on somehow finishing both the bike race and the marathon on Sunday. (His body is slowly recovering.) Other bloggers spotted include LAist's Tony Pierce.
As for the bar itself, as Caroline on Crack notes, the place is a little too pricey to make a regular stop. I paid $6 for an Amstel Light -- and stopped right there.
