Eureka!

Finally got to the bottom of what was clogging the Franklin Avenue pipes over the past week. The winner... Blogads!

Specifically, some old code from the previous Blogad template was still hidden deep inside the bowels of Franklin Avenue. I finally figured it out and scooped it out tonight... and as a result was able to restore the left-hand bar.
