The Stench of Los Feliz

Have you smelled it? The stench of Los Feliz. What's causing it? Where is it coming from? Franklin Avenue reader Judy wants answers:

There's a strange smell all along Los Feliz Blvd tonight - it smells like rotting meat. I smelled it in my car on the 5 as I approached the freeway exit, and I can smell it around my apartment building, which is just south of the boulevard. I have this nagging feeling that it's fire-related... potentially because of all the rotting plants (and animals) killed by the fire. Can anyone confirm this?
