As the one-story building at the corner of Wilshire and Vermont starts coming down, the warning is very specific: "Do not stand at this corner in walk in front of this fence. For your safety, you will be asked to move."
Wow, forceful, yet polite at the same time! And in three languages! Has Miss Manners been doing consulting work with developer in question?
This is one case where I don't believe anyone will be sad to see a building disappear. The unremarkable one-story structure was home to a cybercafe and the aptly named "Vershire Clothers" (Vermont/Wilshire, get it), but that's about it.
