Free L.A.: LACMA Free After 5
Tip of the hat to LAist, which mentioned yesterday that the Los Angeles County Museum of Art -- yes, LACMA -- is free after 5 p.m.
I did not know that! How did I not know that? Doesn't matter, I know it now. Of course, not all exhibits are free -- and the museum is closed on Wednesdays.
But not a bad deal. Here's another great deal, for any of you with kids: LACMA's NextGen Kids program. Not only are kids under 17 allowed into the museum for free, but so is one accompanying adult!
Maria recently took Blogger Toddler to LACMA, and even though he's a little too young to appreciate the art, the museum had plenty to keep him busy. It's one of the great deals in town for families.
