When the annual SantaCon -- featuring hundreds of people dressed like Jolly St. Nick -- hits the streets of L.A., the reaction is mostly bemusement.
And that was the case this year... well, until they hit the Grove. According to Blogging.la, their presence apparently freaked out Grove security (well, that, and their chant, "Buy More Sh!T!"). Even though the Santas eventually made it to the Pan Pacific Park across the way, the cops eventually showed up:
Apparently one SantaCon participant (the one briefly arrested) was asked if they were a terrorist group. Eventually things were explained, and the cops didn't ultimately arrest anyone.
