So Much For the Thai Food/Auto Insurance Experiment
Looks like half of Hollywood's unusual Thai restaurant and Auto insurance building has disappeared.
The "Thai Town Express," at Hollywood and Western, is best known as the Thai joint with a hot dog sign on top of the building. Last year, the building added a new tenant, Amigos Insurance.
Now it appears that the Amigos Insurance storefront (which looked to be the size of a large walk-in closet) is gone. Guess that unique Thai/Insurance/Hot Dog hybrid could last only so long. Here's how it looked last year:
