.... And the Variety Tower Lobby As the "Bank"
The 5900 Wilshire tower -- a.k.a. the Variety Building -- is transforming into a fake bank over the next few days, as TNT's "The Closer" shoots scenes for an episode there.

"Parksley Trust & Loan" has so far survived the economic downturn.
The sudden appearance of a bank in our lobby freaked out the guy with whom I shared an elevator this morning. "Wait, they turned our lobby into a bank?! Where's the vault?!" he asked. I explained that it was likely a film shoot. This is L.A., after all.
