Former MTV VJ and Fox Reality Channel "Reality Remix" host Kennedy (real name: Lisa Kennedy Montgomery) is taking over mornings at alternative rock station KYSR-FM (98.7). She'll be paired with Darren Rose, who will provide entertainment tidbits and news.
The morning show will still be music-intensive; 98.7 (the station formerly known as "Star 98.7") has been all music in the mornings since shutting down its Ozomatli experiment last year.
98.7 has actually been surprisingly competitive vs. KROQ in dayparts outside of mornings, where KROQ is still dominant, thanks to "Kevin & Bean."
Kennedy has already been working at KYSR parent Clear Channel; she's also regularly heard on KFI-AM with host Brian Suits.

Just watching Kennedy on Bill Maher. By far the most uninformed, simple minded annoying guest I've ever seen on this thought provoking and intelligent show. What a waste of a seat on a usually informative panel.

Yikes! I got my first dose of Kennedy on Bill Maher's Real Time last night.
I can't imagine there are people who actually listen to this boorish blabbermouth on purpose.
I am speechless after watching this person on Bill Maher. Her ignorance combined with the maturity of a fourteen year old is repulsive. I truly think I would vomit if I was in the same room as that loud mouth. Why does she keep talking when she is proved wrong? Taxes on Union dues?
