Retro Friday: The NBC Studio Tour, Circa 1983
I still remember taking this tour as a kid -- right around 1983, actually! Check out this "PM Magazine" piece from 1983, reported by Maria Shriver, on the long-gone NBC Studio Tour. (Most of NBC is now on the Universal lot, although Jay Leno -- and KNBC, for now, though it's about to move to Universal as well -- remain in Burbank. NBC sold the Burbank lot a few years ago and is now a tenant.)

Have they officially stopped the tour? We were testing Minute to Win It games on the old Leno stage about a year-and-a-half ago and every so often an occasional small group of tourists would still come by and watch us bounce ping pong balls. - Rich
