MIKE ON RADIO: Recapping CinemaCon on KCRW's "Hollywood Breakdown"
On Thursday's edition of KCRW's Hollywood Breakdown, Kim Masters and I talk about some of the key tidbits coming out of this week's CinemaCon convention in Las Vegas. 2013 was a big year for global box office, thanks mostly to China. But young people aren't seeing as many movies here in the U.S., and that as theater owners worried. One idea: Coming up with a discount movie night, which some theaters are looking to experiment with in an "undisclosed location." Listen to our breakdown here:
