The Los Angeles Auto Show was back Dec. 1 through 10, and once again, the show was electric -- literally. Tesla was back, and a hit — especially with attendees interested in learning more about its affordable upcoming Model 3. Also debuting at the show: the new Jeep Wrangler, Mercedes-AMG PROJECT One, BMW i Vision Dynamics, Subaru Ascent, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Mazda Vision Coupe concept.
The Blogger Kids, of course, were especially interested in the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" cars and display found at the Nissan floor display. Alas, while we waited a while to play with Nissan's virtual reality exhibit, we finally had to give up. The line was long and slow, and we had other things to see.
As usual, Galpin's Hall of Customs was a hit, and offered up some eye-catching displays.
Downstairs in the "Garage," more interesting vehicles — including this classic California Highway Patrol car — could be found.
My dad, a Corvette owner, asked us to check out the new ZR1, which indeed drew the crowds.
The kids also enjoyed this Hot Wheels 50th anniversary edition of the Camaro.
Porsche, as usual, had a special hall all to itself.
Yep, Honda has what it calls the "Minnie" Van. Get it?
