That's so right out of the film "Man Bites Dog." It's a French mockumentary about a film crew following a serial killer and witnessing his crimes, very funny. In the middle they run into the serial killer's arch-rival serial killer, who has his own film crew. Just thought I'd recommend ya check it out as it's hi-larious.
