Rate-A-Restaurant, #1 in a series
This is based on "Rate-A-Date" entries I came across to in The Open Diary.

Restaurant: Miceli's

Location: Universal City (they also have a Hollywood Location)

Health Department Rating: A

Length of dinner: 2 hours

What we ordered: Chicken Lasagna, Baked Ziti with Meat Sauce

They stipulated: That the servers sing for entertainment value.

High point: The warm bread they served us as soon as we sat down and the pink sauce on the Chicken Lasagna (I couldn't resist having a taste). Friendly, no-nonsense service with good talent.

Low point: The singing went a little loud at times making it hard to hear each other.

Overall impression: Good Italian food for a good price.

Chance we will go back: Very good, especially if Mike's sister Ann pays us a visit. She'll appreciate the music. Maybe we'll try the Hollywood location next time.
