Things got a little heated in the Los Angeles blogosphere this weekend, as a debate raged on the pages of LABlogs.com, blogging.la, LAVoice.org and newcomer LA COMfidential over blog etiquette and when it's OK and not OK to link to someone else's work.
Most of the debate took place here, on the comments page at LABlogs.com. As you can see, a lot of time and energy was spent this weekend on the subject, although I'm not entirely sure anyone came to any agreement or conclusion. Much like the East Coast/West Coast rap feuds, without the killings.
You'll also notice I somehow managed to bookend the debate, with the first and 26th posts. And, in both cases, at KCBS morning anchor Kent Shocknek's expense. Sorry, Kent!
