Mayor Villaraigosa is already making good on his campaign promise to appear on more primetime TV sitcoms.
At least, I think that was one of his pledges. First up: The Oct. 5 episode of ABC's "George Lopez." In the episode, Villaraigosa -- who plays himself -- shows up at George's home when he hears Lopez has been impersonating him. Hilarity, I presume, ensues.
Wait a sec, didn't Lopez support Villaraigosa rival Richard Alarcon (you remember him -- he had the cool and slightly bizarre "THE SENATOR... FOR MAYOR" ads) in the mayoral primary? Guess all is forgiven...
