The Dodgers ended their six-game losing streak Friday night, beating the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-3. And Evan was there to cheer them on (and stare at the guy drinking beer next to us as well).
It was Evan's first baseball game, thanks to Kathy, who couldn't make the game and passed along her tickets to us. Other than Rain Man sitting next to us, compiling stats and not uttering a peep, it was a fantastic evening. (And even Rain Man provided some entertainment in his own way.)
We slathered mustard and relish on our grilled Dodger Dogs and watched as the home team pulled ahead in the sixth inning.
By the seventh inning, though, Blogger Baby -- who had spent much of the evening flirting with the people three rows back -- was restless. We decided to be true Angelenos, and dart out early.
