Election Update

Check out this page on the Secretary of State's website to get up-to-the-minute voting results.

As it stands now, just one of the Governator's props is passing, but it's the one that was probably the fiercest fought: Prop 75, which will force unions to get permission from members before spending money. With the unions potentially out of the picture, but big business still spending like drunken sailors next year, that bodes well for Schwarzenegger's re-election campaign. Nice that the state spent all this money to have an election just for that.

Also, as it stands, Prop. 73 -- the parental notification act -- is also ahead.

Of course, only 22.9 percent of the vote has been counted, so a lot can still change.
