"Beware The Blog" at the DIY Convention
The annual DIY Convention happens this weekend at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Key events include the premiere of acclaimed writer/director Henry Jaglom's film "Hollywood Dreams," as well as a keynote speech from Jerry Heller, the man who gave NWA its start (and who recently published his memoir, "Ruthless").
The convention also includes a "state of DIY" address from CDBaby founder Derek Sivers and two lunchtime industry events at the Hotel Cafe for DIY Music Festival winners.
Oh, and on Saturday, the panel "Beware the Blog" will feature yours truly.
Yup, I'll attempt to throw some blogging knowledge at'cha, along with Down with Tyranny's Howie Klein, Curbed's Marissa Gluck, Hollywood Interrupted's Mark Ebner and Dateline Hollywood's Ben Fritz. We'll be on stage Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
Check out the DIY Convention website for more details about this weekend's confab.
