We've already made a date to return to downtown's San Antonio Winery. On Feb. 25, the San Antonio will be holding another one of its afternoon wine seminars, but this one sounds particularly special: They'll be pairing wines with gourmet tamales from Mama's Hot Tamales.
I know, could it get any better?
As you know, we're big fans of the San Antonio Winery (above, one of my favorites: Their San Simeon Petit Syrah. Delicious.) We were invited to take a tour back in November, and more recently came back for a small blogger gathering (below).
We met several fellow L.A. bloggers, including Tannaz -- who writes that sadly, she was mugged later that night (they took her purse, including her wallet and camera).
Above, a portrait of Riboli family matriarch Maddalena, who -- as we wrote back in December -- still works hard (even into her 80s!) at the San Antonio Winery restaurant that bears her name.
